好进入正题，英国到底适不适合自驾
伦敦往西有温莎、唐顿庄园拍摄地海克丽尔城堡、巨石阵、犀利罗马风格城市巴斯;顺左路向北部行车可以参与牛津+比斯特名校购物游，或者到达科茨沃尔德地区、峰区、湖区领略英格兰最美迅乱的乡村或自然风光，喜欢曼联的可经停曼彻斯特，爱好音乐的可游览利物浦，
最北可开到苏格兰，也可走右路返程，去往约克和剑桥最后返回伦敦。
总之英国是一个不能再适合自驾的国家了，英国基本上算是承认中国驾照，不管是国际驾照公证件，或者是简单的翻译件都是非常容易办到，你所要做的就是根据你的喜好选择路线就好啦。
其实以上的每个地方我都想去但是我们毕竟只有12天的行程，我有四天安排在了伦敦周边。
下面是经典路线：
最终选择的是温莎--牛津--比斯特--科斯沃尔德--伦敦。
我们的小车是奥迪A1,非常好开，又非常省油。没有奢华要求的A1是不错的选择。全程4天，1300元左右。
英国自驾TIPS:
1、租车
现在各大租车网站都很方便，唯一的建议就是在国内租好，境外租车比较贵。一定要买足全险。如果出险：车损坏后，当地租车公司会从你的押金中直接扣下高额修车费。你管租车公司要单据，发邮件给租车公司，租车公司根据你的修车单再赔付给你。信用很好不用担心。
2、导航
在英国请使用邮编进行导航，每个景点或酒店的邮编都是唯一码，比输入地址导航方便，而且位置精准。所以英国是非常适合自驾的国家之一。
3、停车
路边停车一定到咪表那自觉交钱，交完钱把ticket放车窗前让警察能看到。不放或不交钱一定会吃罚单。途中挨罚了罚金一般几十到一百多英镑不等，如果14天内缴款成功，罚金打五折。
4、右舵驾驶
右舵没什么可怕的。开车时要随时叨念着：左拐拐小弯，右拐拐大弯。然后时刻提醒自己开车别串道，高速公路一定要上心，错过一个出口就要多开出几十公里，我们错过三次，真是很闹心。不在高速真是无所谓，错过路口不会有什么影戏。
5、环岛：
环岛是顺时针开的!进入环岛前提前并道，一般环岛左转(第一出口)出，提前去到最左边车道;环岛右转去到最右面车道。入环岛前一定要停!让里面的车先亩羡档走!这是必须要遵守的死则!
6、高速费
英格兰、苏格兰、北爱都不收高速费，爱尔兰算国外，要收过路费
7、加油
高速路上加油站和服务区都不是很多，我有点奇怪，难道英国人开车不休息么。我们租的奥迪A1,真是非常的省油，4天下来，只用了半箱油不到，如果在希斯罗机场还车，还车门口就有一个加油站，非常方便，最后加半箱油29磅。
